Last night the Warriors dropped a 3 game set to Notre Dame in an away league match. The Knights pulled out a gutsy defensive effort holding Alemany to a .079 team hitting percentage on the night. This weekend, Alemany looks to regroup with a bye on Tuesday leading into Easter break. After the break, the Warriors continue their road stretch with a match up against Crespi High School on April 13.

Alemany's record fell to 4-5 overall and 2-3 in league.

Congratulations to Junior Matt Tarantino on being selected to USA Volleyball’s Youth National Team. The team is comprised of the top 12 16-17 year old players in the nation as selected by the USA Volleyball Coaching and Advisory staff. The team will represent the United States at the NORCECA Under-19 Continental Championship on April 6-11 in Guadalajara, Mexico and will try and qualify for the 2010 Summer Youth Olympic Games on August 14-26 in Singapore and the Boy’s Youth World Championship at a time and date yet to be determined.
